Astrophysics Seminar |
The Astrophysics Seminar is held on Wednesdays at 4:10 PM. Participants discuss a paper from the current astronomy literature or other reading. This time is also used for talks by visiting astronomers. Generally the reading follows a particular theme each quarter.
Astrophysics graduate students are expected to attend the seminar and enroll
in PHYS 8201 for 1 credit hour.
Undergraduate students who want to take the seminar for credit should enroll in
PHYS 4942 for 1 credit hour.
The Fall Semester 2021 Seminar is organized by Prof. Shields, and will focus on Current and Emerging Technologies for Astronomical Discovery.
